Galley

(draft)

WHAT:

We  reconfigured our Alberg 30’s galley to install a Force 10 marine stove, re-position the sink, and create more storage.

WHY:

The Alberg 30 has little in the way of a galley. When we purchased Ariose, there was an antique-looking 2-burner propane stove rusted out to the point that we did not feel safe to even test it out. The sink was mounted under the companionway and over the engine, so not only was it a constant hazard when entering/exiting Ariose, we had to disconnect the drain-pipe to properly access the engine. Storage space is at a premium, but it seemed that there might be some deadspace under the counter if we could figure out a practical way to access it.

This project is in progress. Check back in the coming weeks (months more likely!) as we update this page with more details. In the meantime, here’s a few photos. Just click to enlarge and scroll though.
