WHAT:

We are reconfiguring the head, replacing the flush toilet with a composting toilet, and adding a sink.

WHY:

The Alberg 30’s head is tucked on the port side, aft of the v-berth, opposite the hanging locker. Ours came with a flush toilet that was fine, but we had issues with the holding tank’s odours. There’s a small cabinet above the holding tank, and no sink.

We’ll also create a separate page to share why we decided to go with a composting toilet (seems to be a great option, whether on land or water) and how we chose the C-Head model.
